This cuvée is made with 100% chardonnay grapes. It has spent at least 42 months on the lees. It’s likewise a charming woman without make-up, or simply an expression of the pure soil of Le Mesnil-surOger. We can perceive the marine fossils, the elegance and the subtlety of the gypsum given by the land itself. Its aroma is a sharp knife, mineral and scratchy. Particularly noteworthy are the notes of lime and ginger, grapefruit as well as green apple. In the mouth, the drinkability is extreme, vertical and ostentatious, giving a dynamism, and citrine hues that accentuate the mineral iodine tension. In the aftertaste has long citrus and savory notes that leave a pleasant fresh and clean mouth.
Preservation and Consume
The ideal temperature to preserve our wine for long aging is 13°C /55°F, at 70-80% RH.
Our Zero is perfect to be consumed immediately, but it can develop further aromas for 5/7 Years
We suggest to serve the wine at 4°C / 40°F and eventually let it warm up in the glass to reach the perfect tasting temperature around 7°-9°C / 44°-48°F
A wide tulip with a pointy base should be preferred, to release all the aromas without losing effervescence
